This is your field guide to the pricing app: build the job on Quote, work the price on Pricing, send it to your manager from the same screen. Fifteen minutes with this and you know everything the app does. Keep it on your phone — it works offline, in the basement, in the dead zone, everywhere.
Sign in with the email and password your manager gave you. That's your sign-in — nobody else uses it, and nobody from the app company will ever ask for it.
Forgot your password? Your manager resets it, in the app, in about a minute. Call or text them. There is no "forgot password" email and no support line for reps — by design, so your account stays inside your company.
The app opens on Home. Your tabs:
The Customer field sits above the tabs. Type the customer's name first — Quote and Pricing stay locked until there's a name, because the name is what the job is saved and sent under.
When the quote is the job, tap Use as List Price (bottom of the Quote screen). That carries the total to Pricing as the list price and the real work starts.
Something's not in the price book — a specialty part, a third-party purchase, a one-off? Scroll to Misc Charges at the bottom of the Quote screen, tap Add a Misc Charge, write a plain description and the amount. Add as many as the job needs. The amount counts in the quote total and in the job you send your manager.
Write the description like the customer will read it — because they will. Misc charges show on the scope sheet and the customer document by description only. The amount never appears on anything the customer sees.
Save Locally (Quote screen) saves the job on your phone, under a name — the field comes pre-filled with the customer's name and a dash, so just add what makes this one different ("Full job," "Gutters only"). If a save with that name already exists, the app asks: overwrite it, save as a new lead, or cancel. Nothing is silently duplicated.
Saved jobs live on Home → Saved Jobs. Load puts one back on the Quote and Pricing screens. Delete removes it from your phone (it asks first) — and deleting your copy never touches a copy your manager already has.
The rule to remember: a local save has never left your phone. Your manager sees a job only when you Send it from Pricing (§7). Saving is for you; sending is for them.
Top to bottom on the Pricing screen:
This screen is your training surface: it shows you your own numbers so there are no surprises later. It is not a customer screen — when a customer leans in, that's §9.
This is the drop call: your manager can offer a discount that isn't yours to give, and it counts for more coming from them — if you found that money yourself, everything you'd already given would look made up. When the price needs your manager — or the job is done and it goes in — it's one flow:
No signal? Send anyway. The job saves, your screen says "Saved — will send when you have signal," and it goes out on its own when you're back in range.
How long to expect your manager to take, what to say at the table while you wait, and what to do if nobody answers are your company's house rules. Your manager sets them — ask how they run it before you're sitting in front of a customer wondering.
Sometimes you need a what-if number, not a quote. On Pricing, tap Estimate (top-right). A red frame edges the screen the whole time you're in it — that's your warning label.
Use it for phone ballparks and "what would it take" talks. The moment it's a real job, flip to Quote and build it for real.
The floating eye button is on every screen. One tap covers the whole app with your company's logo and name — no numbers, no customer names. Tap the cover and you're straight back where you were, nothing changed. No password, on purpose: it's a glance guard for the kitchen table, not a lock, and you need back in mid-sentence.
Privacy saver does the same thing on its own. It's at the bottom of the Home screen: Off, 5 sec, or 10 sec — set it and the cover drops by itself after that long untouched. Handy when you set the phone down and walk the customer to look at the work. If you're on a management call longer than the delay, the cover may be up when you come back — one tap and you're in, everything as you left it.
Sign out drops the cover too — signing out is at the bottom of Home, never anywhere a thumb can hit it by accident.
There's a plain four-function calculator built in — it slides out from its button, does its math, and never touches your quote or pricing. Finished calculations stack on a tape (the last 10); tap one to recall its result. Use it for the side math — measurements, split payments, sanity checks — without leaving the app.
Everything in this app works offline: quotes, pricing, saves, sends. Sends queue and go out when the signal returns. Your manager's changes — prices, your access, anything — land at the same check-in. If your manager deactivates someone, that also lands at the next check-in, never mid-appointment.
From a saved job on Home, Document builds the customer document and CSV the internal spreadsheet — share either through your phone's share sheet (mail, files, wherever it needs to go).
The customer document lists the work and the scope, and nothing else. No commission. No floors. Misc charges by description only, no amounts. You never have to check it before handing it over — the internal numbers can't get in; there's no path for them.
| If… | Do this |
|---|---|
| You forgot your password | Call or text your manager — they reset it in the app. |
| Sign-in says "Device not authorized" | Your sign-in was deactivated or the device hasn't checked in. Get a signal, tap Check again. Still locked? Your manager checks your card in Team. |
| Quote and Pricing are locked | Type the customer's name in the Customer field at the top. (Estimate mode is the one exception — it needs no name.) |
| Send says "Saved — will send when you have signal" | Nothing's wrong. It's queued and sends itself when you have signal. |
| The app says storage is full when saving | Delete old local saves you don't need (Home → Saved Jobs → Delete) and back up first if they're jobs that matter. Jobs you already sent are safe with your manager. |
| Your manager changed something but you don't see it | Get a signal so the app checks in. If you still don't see it, fully close the app and reopen it once — updates swap in on a fresh open. |
| A misc charge is wrong | Fix it on the Quote screen before you send. Already sent? Fix it and Send again — it updates the same job. |
| You sent the wrong job | Tell your manager — they can delete it from their list, and it stays restorable if it turns out it wasn't wrong. Your local copy is yours to delete on Home. |
| A price looks wrong in the book | Don't work around it quietly. Tell your manager — prices are theirs to change, and the change reaches everyone at check-in. |
Tap Help at the bottom of the Home screen: the short version of this guide, your support contact, the app version, and Report a Problem — it sends the app's error log (messages and version only — never your jobs or customer names) so a problem can actually be found.
Day to day, though, your first call is your manager. That's where passwords, prices, and jobs live.
